Russia and Ukraine meetings in Minsk yield little progress

Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister of Russia, has stated that NATO's involvement in its conflict with Ukraine will only undermine peace efforts. They are expected to meet once again on Friday, September 5th with OSCE representatives (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) to try to find a peaceful resolution to the 8-month-long conflict that has claimed the lives of more than 2,600 people, mostly civilians.
