For the Love of Static in (V)HS

Scrambled up some home VHS tapes from the 1990s with a salad of Beyoncé and Eurythmics and The Mountain Goats and lots of other shit, and this came out.

Some of the VHS source footage is from an awkward middle school comedy show I performed in, and some is from artsy high school videos my friend Osha and his friends made. I used my cell phone to record the TV screen as the tapes played. These are the audio sources, in order of first appearance:
