San Diego Veterans For Peace Demonstration Starts "National Anti-Drone Days of Action"
Thursday, April 4, 2013 Poway, CA - Anti-drone protesters gathered at the General Atomics Predator drone production site. After a peaceful march around the facilities, people held banners and signs at the corners of Scripps Poway Parkway and Stowe Drive.
General Atomics is a nuclear physics and defense contractor headquartered in San Diego, California. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, provides unmanned aerial vehicles and radar solutions for military and commercial applications worldwide. The Predator UAV is made by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems.
Speaker Dave Patterson is a U.S. Air Force Veteran, Past President of the San Diego Veterans For Peace and is the San Diego Veterans For Peace No Drones Coordinator.
