Mostly everyone had seen it, TVS get the cricket stars in the TVCs to commercialese its products, and needless to say, the Virat Kohli and Mahendar Singh Dhoni are the ones to appear for its latest commercial that teases the upcoming launch of a new Star. Launching that product in actual at an event in Delhi, Star City Plus made its debut in India, for a starting price of Rs 41,500 for the kick start variant. The fully-loaded electric start variant comes for Rs 44,000 ex-showroom Delhi.
However, the new Star City Plus propels a new "Ecothrust" engine of 109.7cc with four stroke, that delivers linear performance of 8.4 PS at 7,000 rpm, and 8.7 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. A four speed manual gearbox enables it to extract 0 to 60 kmph in just 7.6 seconds and escorts a top speed of 90 kmph.
Overall, there are number of new features on the Plus tag which is making it more lucrative than before.
