It is the largest US retailer selling home improvement and construction products and services and is also one of the largest home improvement retailers in the world. It has a wide range of customers from do-it-yourself enthusiasts to small businesses and large corporations.
Home Depot was founded in 1978 by Bernard Marcus, Arthur Blank, and Ronald Brill who found themselves jobless after a managerial reshuffle at the Handy Dan’s, which interestingly enough, went out of business in 1989.
