Shishani Namibian Dutch song writer singer
Shishani Vranckx is a Namibian born singer/songwriter. She left Namibia at the age of five and grew up in the Netherlands.
Shishani's voice can be described as soulful, smooth and captivating, her style can be compared to artists like Tracy Chapman, Erykah Badu and Lauren Hill just to name a few. On stage she gently commands attention and radiates security and strength one would not expect on such a young woman. Over the years she has collaborated with various artists, performing internationally in countries such as Ireland, Belgium, France, Morocco as well as the Czech Republic.
Shishani was nominated in the 2011 Namibian Annual Music Awards(NAMAs) for her hit single "minority".
