P & A Wood, appointed as "The Official Rolls-Royce and Bentley Heritage Dealers", have been restoring and maintaining Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars since 1967. During that time, their unmatched skill and expertise has enabled them to restore some of the worlds most famous and desirable motorcars. With some restorations taking up to two years to complete.
To meet their exacting bodywork refurbishment requirements a world class bodyshop was required. P & A Woods selected Spraybooth Technology to design and build a 'state of the art' paint facility. The dual-purpose preparation bays allow P & A Wood coachwork specialists to employ traditional methods combined with the very best of modern technology.
The preparation bays unique electrically operated roller doors configuration can be altered to provide a flexible workspace to suit each restoration.
To provide the very best working conditions, air is filtered to 7 microns at 18,000 cubic meter's an hour through the ceiling plenum and extracted at the rear end wall. Guaranteeing a clean, dust free environment, perfect for bodywork preparation.
The main Spraybooth has been designed and built to meet P & A Wood exacting standards. High air flows of 45,000 cubic metres an hour, fully automated cabin pressure control and filter monitoring systems are just some of the standard features.
The Atex approved lighting system provides 14000 lux lighting levels and it is virtually maintenance free. The fully gridded floor gives production line standards of cleanliness coupled with less frequent filter changes.
The Spraybooth features a temperature controlled environment on both spray and bake cycles. The fully modulating gas burner provides close temperature control to within half of a degree C of set point, thus exceeding paint and car manufacturers stringent requirements. Only the highest standards are acceptable for P & A Wood.
Spraybooth Technology's unique Aqua dry system completes the sophisticated process control system and provides P & Wood with the most energy efficient and rapid paint process times. Specifically developed to be compatible with all paints and manufacturers requirements.
