A Global Positioning System, or GPS is a popular way to navigate while you’re driving, but the screens have some problems, causing people to be distracted while they’re driving.

Garmin, one of the biggest GPS companies, has developed a display that is projected on the windshield, so it doesn’t block the driver’s view of the road.

The head-up display, or HUD is a new development for driving that includes GPS technology.

Most HUDs in cars costs thousands of dollars to install in the dashboard, so they are cost prohibitive, but Garmin is planning to offer an affordable system.

When it hits the market, the system will cost around 130 dollars, not including the cost of the Navigon or Garmin StreetPilot programs necessary to operate it, which cost between 30 to 60 dollars.

One person who test drove a BMW M6 that comes equipped with a HUD that shows speed, navigation, engine RPM, and the legal speed limit of the road directly in front of the driver found it to be much safer than traditional dashboard display.
