This video was captured recently in northern India and this is the moment a truck carrying fireworks caught fire. The whole thing happened on January 16th and while it’s unclear how the inferno started, the results were the same. Veuer’s Tony Spitz has the details.

00:13Moments after the truck ignited, the fireworks began to fire off on their own.
00:17And while it was an epic display, it posed a significant danger to both the driver and those who lived nearby.
00:23Luckily, the explosion stayed within a fairly close proximity of the truck.
00:26Firefighters rushed to the scene, and this video was taken after they mostly had the blaze under control.
00:31Authorities say that the driver was able to exit the vehicle in time, and did not sustain any injuries from the explosives.
00:38There also did not seem to be any collateral damage as a result of the fire either.
00:42However, the same cannot be said for the vehicle carrying the fireworks.
00:46As you can see, once the explosive display ended, all that was left was the burned-out skeleton of a truck.
