00:00Ice Ice
00:04We are going to talk about the song Ice Ice, which was released by Sjomvarp in the last week.
00:09Guðrún Sóli will tell us more about it.
00:19It's been 4-5 months since Jón called me and asked me if I wanted to make a music video for the band Ice Ice.
00:26He mentioned the name of the band and I said yes.
00:38And then the snowball started rolling and here we are today, almost a month later,
00:45with the finished music video.
00:47And I'm just a big Ice Ice fan now and I can't wait to see what's next.
00:54It's something completely new.
00:56I'm not trying to put a label on it.
00:58This is something that the team had to work on for a long time.
01:03What was it?
01:09Ice Ice for me is just, let's say, four of our most famous musicians and one artist.
01:16Fredrik Dahl, Jón, Jónsson, Perra Nettesmyr, Aron Kahn and Rúri Gislason.
01:21This circus is made up of a woman called Molly, played by Sandro Barilli.
01:29She's a musician here and is a part of this whole thing.
01:34She's a very important character in the band.
01:38Are you in charge of this?
01:39No, not me. I'm just in charge of the whole industry.
01:44Molly is in charge.
01:46She's always in charge of the right people.
01:52She doesn't have a particular plan.
01:55The funny thing about her is that she's been living in the country for many years,
01:59but she doesn't know about Icelandic pop culture.
02:01That's really nice.
02:03These five guys have nothing.
02:05She could not care less.
02:09That's a bit harsh.
02:11How did you come up with this play?
02:14Hannes Aronsson called me and asked how I was going to be featured in the workshop.
02:20And he said,
02:21Yes, listen, there's something else.
02:24It's a small play with one character.
02:27It's the midwife.
02:29You've been a midwife, haven't you?
02:31And I said, yes, I have been a midwife.
02:33And he said, didn't you learn the play?
02:35And I said, yes, I learned it many years ago,
02:39but I've never played in front of a camera.
02:42Then I read the script and saw that it was Hannes' big play.
02:45So that came as a surprise.
02:47But I said, yes, okay, let's film this.
02:50This will be fun.
02:51I didn't ask you to be a midwife.
02:53Molly, you are a midwife.
02:56Do you understand?
02:59What's going on now?
03:00Listen, I'm in charge.
03:01I'm just guessing.
03:03You have to watch out for the counter outside.
03:05And do what you have to do.
03:09You've been on tour for a long time now,
03:10so you've been living in this place.
03:12How is the preparation going?
03:13The preparation is going well.
03:15It's harder to work than on tour.
03:17Is it like all your previous plays?
03:19All my previous plays?
03:23Yes.
03:24I have to say that we've had great names
03:28and a lot of heroes.
03:30A lot of strong heroes.
03:32He was in the clinic,
03:34and he had a little...
03:37A little hair.
03:38Yes.
03:39Who is this for?
03:40For people who like to laugh.
03:43And this is a funny laugh.
03:45And I think it's fun to do a play
03:49that's just so much fun.
03:52And it's exactly that in the play.
03:54That's what I've been working on.
03:56And I've come to the conclusion that it's going to be great.
03:58The boys are built on the same formula.
04:01The boys are the ones who are going to sell this band.
04:04These are vinyls.
04:06If they are men and women who are taking part in this,
04:09how does it go to control the play and keep the focus?
04:12It's a lot of fun to put them on,
04:14and there's a lot of vinyls and the atmosphere.
04:16They're just great.
04:17Getting to screw it all down.
04:19On cue with everything.
04:20They're just like all the other actors.
04:28Who are they?
04:29People in the country.
04:32And Europe.
