00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. My name is Theo Hewson-Betts and this is our Coffee Catch-Up.
00:04Today's coffee is from 200 Degrees near St Peter's Square and it's just a long black. I went basic
00:09today. Now let's have a look at some of the big news from the Manchester World team, shall we?
00:13Both Michael Plant and Rich Fay were at the Manchester Derby this weekend and have put out
00:16some wonderful work between them. Michael's been looking at the Manchester City side and has done
00:20an amazing long piece on what it's been like to cover Pep Guardiola as a journalist, whereas
00:24Rich has done a great piece on why Marcus Rashford and Garnaccio were left out of the matchday squad.
00:28Both of the lads have done some great work and I want to say a special thank you to Michael who's
00:32leaving Manchester World to pursue other opportunities. He's been a massive help
00:35to me personally since I arrived at Manchester World and he's been a part of this publication
00:40for a long time. On the news side we still have the exceptional Patrick Hollis churning out some
00:43great pieces. Firstly a lovely story on pupils from a few Stalybridge schools being fortunate
00:48enough to meet Santa Claus on a special train ride provided by TransPennine Express and on a
00:52more serious track he's also done a useful article on bin collections over the festive period,
00:56which I'd strongly recommend checking out. So go check out the Manchester World website.
