So Long Brother

In WW II, Will Foard flew P-51 Mustang fighters as a protective escort to B-17 Bombers. His Brother, Gilbert, was a tail gunner in a B-17. While Will was flying in Europe, he got word Gilbert’s plane was shot down and his brother was lost. In 2013, a B-17 paid a visit to Will’s hometown near Asheville, NC. It was Will’s first time to be up close with a B-17.
