NIKKO – The most famous city of temples in Japan

When the great Shogun Ieyasu from Tokugawa tribe forever closed his eyes, begins Benjamin Ringel, his people fulfilled his last will and laid him on the last rest in the mountainous region of Nikko – 100 km away from the new capital of Edo, which back then was a poor fishing village and only later developed into what’s today know as Tokyo.
