"Rescue Vet" is an upbeat and informative series that celebrates the professionals who dedicate their lives to caring for animals and the owners who love their pets. In Episode 1, a Labrador retriever is brought to a third veterinarian, Doctor Bianucci, to determine the cause of her excessive panting. Doctor Malark tries to determine if a miniature horse with colic needs to have surgery or has to be put down. An aggressive pitbull is biopsied by Doctor Mayers for an overgrowth in his mouth, which may be diagnosed a cancerous tumor.
