Newcomer 2012/ 21 year old Julian le Play from Vienna has become a well known artist in the past year. With his song „Mr.Spielberg" he is treated as THE Austrian newcomer 2012 and the biggest hope for the german market. The song becomes a radiosensation and rises up high in the charts. The extraordinary You Tube video, that imitates Spielbergs most famous movies, reaches 300 000 views in just a few weeks. Julian has also been playing supporting acts for international artist such as Aura Dione. Rumor has it that le Play´s songs are produced in Germany and not in Austria. Wrong, the song, the album, everything is made in Austria. An Indie act goes major. Soweit Sonar/ That Julian le Play is not a One Hit Wonder will be proven by his first album Soweit Sonar that will be released this coming fall. Julian is singer and song writer of all 13 songs on the album. His songs are all about passion and desire but still timeless. The music on the album shows the wide range ofJulian le Play´s talent: small piano ballads(Versprich mir), big pop anthems (Alles schläft), and, probably the most exceptional song on the album, Philosoph, which will air on September 14th as second single. He blends together dreamy lyrics with cool beats and a whole world of synthies. It is like Grönemeyer in 2012 or Clueso on the dancefloor. Tour 2012/ The album was produced at the viennese recording studios GRIDmusic, the record label of Romy Reis and Lukas Hillebrand, and will finally be on the austrian market on september 28th. Julian le Play will be on tour through Austria with his le Play Liveband this coming fall.
