Stuart Wilde's music is unique. Dark, heartfelt and poetic, his songs range from thunderous to tender, populated by stories of lost love, shadow worlds, dirty dishes, the sea, mud and crows. His music has been compared to Nick Cave, Tom Waits & Bob Dylan.
Performing solo Stuart plays guitar & foot percussion to accompany his singing, making a big sound, which could be described as Alternative Irish Blues. Stuart grew up in Ireland, near the estuary of the river Boyne in Co. Meath, and now lives in Cork.
2011 saw the release of Stuart Wilde's debut Album, "The Black Crow" followed by gigs in Ireland, Germany and the UK. "The Black Crow" was featured in 2UIBestow's Top 20 Albums of 2011. This year he began work on a second Album, due for release by the end of the year.
