Hey its Mason here, you know, over the years my family and I have been to many RV parks and Campgrounds seeing all the wonderful sites that East texas has to offer. Along the way, I have learned a lot of awsome tricks and techniques that have helped not only myself, but many others just like you. Today, I would like to share one with you.

Do you know that each RV park and campground has different facilities available at the park, and each campsite different still. Several cities, and counties also have different restrictions as to whether or not the campgrounds can have certain amenities such as campfires. For instance, during the hot and dry weather, burn restrictions may be in place, and you might not be able to enjoy that smell of burning oak. It is always a good idea to contact the campground ahead of time to see what amenities, and restrictions may or may not impact your camp out.

Here is something that you may not have given much thought to. Did you know that currently the USDA is restricting the transportation of firewood across certain state lines. Their is a bug known as the Emerald Ash Bore Beetle that is eating away at trees, and carrying infected wood across state lines can be hazardous to the neighboring states as well as the camping park that you are visiting. There could even possibly be fines involved if found to be transporting infected wood. That's definitely not the way to start out the family camping trip.
