After a Pole and a German, will the Roman Catholic Church revert to an Italian leader once again? Cardinals are expected to select a new pontiff mid-March, and although a quarter of those eligible to vote are Italian, many want to avoid more power struggles within the Holy See and select a leader from further afield.
