Thai crackdown on illegal ivory trafficking

Officials in Thailand have been screening shops in Nakhon Sawan province in a bid to stop illegal trade in African elephant tusks. Trade of domestic tusks is legal.
The country will host the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species in March, with ivory high on the agenda.
