Hi, I’m Mason, and I love visiting campgrounds, RV parks and paintball fields throughout the midwest. I currently live in the St. Louis, Missouri area but I enjoy traveling whenever I can. I've learned a few things that others tell me has helped them get the most out of there camping trips and adventures and I hope my thoughts can help you.

Did you know that new credit card rules allow for merchants to charge fees, and establish minimum charges to accept your credit cards as payment. This includes campgrounds and RV parks.

When you go camping have you given thought ahead of time as to how you are going to pay not only for your campsite, but any extras that you and your family might want while you are at the campground.

As debits cards have become increasingly popular over the last few years, the new rules apply to them as well as credit cards. Many merchants will not accept certain cards, such as American Express. And now RV parks are able to put surcharges or set minimum purchase amounts before accepting your debit or credit card.

Businesses have certain fees that they have to pay in order to accept credit and or debit cards. Have you ever thought about seeing if your local campground gives a discount for paying in cash? Some may and some may not, but it never hurts to ask.

If you or someone you know is looking for the perfect camping park, campsites, RV park or paintball fields, then I invite you to visit YouTube.com/campingstl for additional tips and ideas that can make it the best experience ever.
