BUDDY WASISNAME AND THE OTHER FELLERS - ANTI-TERRORISM

PRESENTED BY KAT

Wayne Chaulk, Kevin Blackmore and Ray Johnson have been performing together and keeping audiences happy for 3 decades. In show business that's an eternity. The musical comedy trio known as Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers are collectively one of the province's most entertaining groups. Their mixture of song and comedy are flavoured with themes unique to Newfoundland while at the same time possessing universal appeal.

Buddy's (aka Blackmore's) portrayal of cultural caricatures through song and stand-up leave people breathless from laughter. Johnson's unique love of all things traditional is beautifully displayed in his reciting and composing abilities as well as his distinct singing voice. Chaulk's affection for rural Newfoundland and its people come through in his song writing skills; having crafted some of the provinces best-loved tunes including: 'The Pits' and 'Saltwater Joys'.

Each member brings something wonderful to the group. They continue, after 30 years, to sell out shows, delight audiences and carry out their roles as living legends with the upmost of professionalism.
