Gina Carano was the first real star of women's mixed martial arts. The former Strikeforce and EliteXC talent was the also first to produce strong television ratings on the women's side of the game and to date, has been in the most-watched women's MMA bouts. Yet, she hasn't fought in three years as she tries her hand at an acting career in Hollywood. In this interview with SB Nation, Carano hesitates to call herself a fighter, but won't close the door on her fighting career. She also discusses the potential Cris Cyborg vs. Ronda Rousey bout, whether the two should meet at 135 pounds and what it could mean for the sport.
