After exchanging your currency at any of the kiosks located inside Bangkok International Airport, take some time to familiarize yourself with your new money. Thai currency is called the baht, and comes in both coins and banknotes.

The ten baht coin is the largest, with a gold-colored center surrounded by silver. Next in size and value is the five baht coin, followed by the smaller one and two baht coins.
Banknotes also vary by size and color. The smallest is the twenty baht bill, which is green, followed by...(this is probably all voice over)...the blue fifty baht bill...the pink twenty baht bill...the purple five hundred baht bill...and finally, the last and largest, brown thousand baht bill.
