Residents of Tuz Khormato, south of the Iraqi city of Kirkuk, survey damage to their town.

Four bombs exploded consecutively late on Tuesday night, leaving one dead and ten injured.

The blasts caused serious damage to nearby buildings and left residents despairing.

This man says their neighbourhood is a simple one.

He adds that the people suffer while government officials are busy arguing.

The attack followed a day of bloodshed on Monday when at least 23 people were killed and over 80 wounded in attacks across Iraq.

Kirkuk lies at the heart of a feud between Baghdad and Kurdistan over land and oil rights, which escalated recently with the deployment of both sides' military along the contested internal boundary.
