The media conference of JAYA SMRITI (Platform to young talented classical dancers in India, presented by Ms. Hema Malini's Natyavihar Kalakendra) The Festival to be held on Dec 26th, & 27th introduced by Ms. Hema Malini at the Media Conference. This year the program was scheduled to unfold into a three day festival at Nehru Centre presenting Stree Shakti celebrating womanhood through dance music, workshops and contests. Short film, photography and painting contests on the subject Stree Shakti will take place, involving major media schools, judged by the accomplished celebrity judges.For several years now Ms. Hema Malini has been dedicating the program Jaya Smriti in memory of her late mother Smt. Jaya Chakravarty â€" a remarkable lady who dedicated her life to promoting young talent and patronizing art and culture.
