This Celebration Special episode starts with an ecstatic performance of Sufi Queen Iktara fame Kavita Seth on 'Khuda Wahi Hai' and 'Iktara'. She wishes luck to the contestants and makes a revelation of her upcoming music album, 'Khuda Wahi Hai'. The competition begins with an exuberating performance by Nirmitee on 'Bappa Morya Re', a perfect start of the show. Judge Gurus pay a standing ovation to them and tell them that this is what they expect them to do on stage. The show proceeds with the performance of Geet Sagar, who presents a mischievous performance on 'Govinda Aala Re'. Sajda Sisters relive a classic song 'Piya Tose Naina Lage Re' from the movie 'Guide'. Dressed in Saree, they also try to show some dance moves like Waheeda Rehman. Deewana Group starts their Eid special performance with an Adhan and performs on 'Yoon Shabnami' from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya. After their performance, Arif is asked to play violin, so he plays 'Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan'. Seema Jha gets a surprise to see her two younger brothers visiting her on this day of Rakshabandhan, so she ties them Rakhi. She performs on another Lata Mangeshkar song, 'Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo'. With her performance, she pays a tribute to the freedom fighters who died fighting for the India's freedom. This week Sajda Sisters take home the performer of the week award for their unwavering performances on 'Pal Do Pal Ka' and 'Piya Tose Naina Lage Re'.

A singing show with a unique format that gives everyone a chance to showcase their talent. Open to all citizens of India over the age of 16, the auditions will be divided into 3 categories, viz. 16-25 years, 25 & above and individual groups. Participants that make through the final selection will then be divided into three groups with each group headed by a mentor. Of this lot, the top 12 will be selected to participate in the Galas and prove their mettle to the entire nation

As one of the judges for X FACTOR INDIA' Sanjay has vowed to pick only the best.
Shreya Ghoshal: For Shreya life has come full circle, from a being a contestant on a reality show to being the judge on the biggest music reality show on Indian television. This gifted singer's first film "Devdas" not only saw her getting a Filmfare 'RD. Burman Award for New Music Talent' but also the 'best female playback singer' award. After lending her voice in more than 180 films and receiving four National Film Awards, she is all set to win hearts in her new avatar as a judge in X FACTOR INDIA.
