The 37-year-old was being chased by police, but instead of stopping, she called 911 and told operators that there was no emergency but she would only pull over if cops gave her $300,000. The incident occurred around 11:30 at night, when an officer followed the woman and even used his lights and siren to get her to stop.
A chase ensued, hitting speeds up to 70 miles per hour, taking a total of approximately 15 minutes. When she drove down a dead end road, she was forced to pull into a private driveway, which ended the pursuit.
The woman was arrested and charged with driving without a license, driving while impaired and felony fleeing to elude arrest.
Police officials hear many bizarre demands.
Earlier this year, a 61 year old man, Fredrick Denney, held himself hostage in a Belmont, North Carolina hotel room with two demands: a marriage to Paris Hilton and a pizza. During the ordeal, one floor of the hotel had to be shut down and Denney even threatened to open fire on police. He was eventually arrested with the aid of pepper spray
