Royal Betting Frenzy: Brits Put Money On Will And Kate's Baby Name, Weight, Hair Color

The royal betting frenzy has begun. Britons indulged in their favorite pastime , with bookmakers shortening the odds on twins on Tuesday (December 4) and taking bets on a wide range of potential names for Prince William and Catherine's baby or babies.
While the Duchess of Cambridge was still recovering in the hospital with acute morning sickness, bookmakers were receiving a slew of bets on what the future King or Queen could be called.
Among the favorite names are George, Victoria, Charles and Elizabeth, after the Queen - all between 10 and 12/1.
"What we are seeing is very traditional names are being chosen. I think they are very traditional people, so if you look at the betting, there is George, Victoria, Elizabeth, those type of names, or royal names are going down really well," said Rupert Adams, spokesman for bookmakers William Hill.
For true gamblers, the longest odds are on the distinctly less regal names of Kevin (250/1), Wayne (1000/1) and Chardonnay for a girl also at 1000/1.
Whatever name the Duke and Duchess chose, it will likely set trends for baby names for the next decade.
Twins odds moved from 33/1 to 25/1.
Gamblers are also taking a punt on what the baby's weight will be and what color the hair.
