A woman pulled over for driving 100 miles per hour tells police that God told her to do it.

There's no shortage of creative responses to getting pulled over.

A woman in Florida, 41-year-old Melissa Miller was reportedly driving 100 miles per hour in a 30 zone.

An officer witnessed her silver Toyota zooming down the road with its horn roaring and Miller’s arm was stuck out the window. The cop tried to pull her over, but she drove even faster and swerved across two southbound lanes, nearly missing two other cars driving north.

Once she was finally stopped, Miller told police she “was letting the Lord spirit guide her”. As for her horn blowing, she states “the Lord was telling me to do it.” She was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, speeding and reckless driving.

Cops regularly hear bizarre excuses from drivers. Earlier this year, officers in Florida responded to a report of reckless driving.

They found a pickup truck weaving and pulled the vehicle over. The driver, Warren Michael III told them that a squirrel, residing under his shirt was eating him.

Surprisingly Michael did end up showing them the live squirrel. However, officers also noted bloodshot eyes, a strong stench of alcohol and slurred speech. He was cited for a DUI.
