A protest march in India’s Southern State Kerala turned violent and police used tear gas shells to disperse the mob.
The protest was at Thiruvananthapuram the capital city of Kerala on Thursday morning. Police used Batten charge , water canon and tear gas to disperse the mob.
The protest was conducted by one of the caste organisation VSDP( Vaikundaswamy Dharma Paripalana Yogam).
Their main demand is to omission certain portions in a school text book. Their argument is that it insulted their caste.
