Sinibaldo De Rosa France Paris Clashes between the police and demonstrators during the unauthorized manifestation in support of Palestina.

Saturday 19th of July 2014 at 4.30 p.m. in Paris the police stops the traffic on the Barbes discrict after the clashes with a demonstration in support of Palestine. Yesterday morning the Prefecture refused to authorize the demonstration, nevertheless today hundreds of supporters of Palestina gathered in front of the Gare du Nord to commemorate the deaths of the recent escalation of violence in Gaza. The police intervened and dispersed the demonstrators by throwing tear gas bombings on the crowd and trying to block the traffic on the streets and in the metro stops of the area. Some of the demonstrators attacked the policemen by throwing stones and braking the windows of an apartment on Rue Myrha. Some inhabitants and other people passing by express their anxiety for the situation.
