Paris Concept Bridge Has Three Massive Trampolines

An architectural firm proposes a new buoy and trampoline bridge over the Seine river in Paris, France.

Few cities can claim to have richer architecture than Paris.

A new design proposal dubbed ‘A Bridge in Paris’ by the architectural firm AZC could certainly add a unique flair to the city. Essentially it'll be a giant, inflatable structure with multiple trampolines that cross the famous Seine River. No doubt, pedestrians would have a blast crossing the bridge. AZC’s website states “It appears to us that Paris has the bridges necessary for the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic across its waterways. Our intention is to invite its visitors and inhabitants to engage on a newer and more playful path.“
The design is composed of three rings, stretching 30 meters in diameter, the middle of each ring contains a massive trampoline. Described as ‘floating buoys’, the outer rings are composed of PVC membrane and all three are bound together by a cord. The circular outskirts allow for an arch-like structure, which would appear to allow boats to pass underneath.
It's not yet known whether the project will become a reality.

How do you like the idea?
