"Well, we have a variety of clients. Somebody who's getting married, somebody who's going into a business venture. We have 3 things that we can do from our already in house computer system.

The first one is called a basic asset search, where we can take the person's name and identifying data and we can tell you what property they own, what corporations they might be involved in, what limited partnerships they may be affiliated with. We can do something that's very, very important from my financial point of view and that's the consumer public filing index where we can tell you about their bankruptcies, notices of defaults, judgments, tax liens and any problems with the IRS. We can do civil, if they've sued or been sued or criminal records, both felonies and misdemeanors. We can do fictitious business names and the uniform commercial code, which give us deter and secured party information. And all of that information is compiled into a court ready document which we will then give to the client.

The second thing we do is a bank search where we tell you the person’s banks saving and checking accounts. Now there are strict rules and regulations that we have to comply with, the most important being the Gramm Leach Bliley bill.

The third thing we do is a stocks and bonds search, once again, keeping compliant with all the rules, where we do a nationwide search for stocks, bonds, and securities."
