The wounded arrive at a hospital in a Turkish border town Sunday after being wounded during clashes in Syria.

Rebels captured a town in northwestern Syria that cuts the highway between Aleppo and Homs, the main route for the government to resupply and reinforce the northern city.

More than 30,000 people have been killed in the conflict which started out as a popular uprising then descended into civil war.

Fighting has spilled over the borders raising concern that the conflict could spread across the region.
