The Healing Properties of Aloe Vera

Aloe vera or medicinal aloe has been used as a natural analgesic and skin soother for thousands of years by various cultures all over the world from the ancient Greeks to the Babylonians. There are even some references to the unique qualities of this healing plant in the Holy Bible. The ancient Egyptians are thought to have christened it "the plant of immortality". It has also been known as the Wonder Plant and the Potted Physician and is revered as the Ayurvedic "miracle plant".
