complete video/music work, "Purgatorium", by Gordon Carter. The first parts of this were originally made for the exhibition "Purgatorium" with Bogdan Aleksandrov and Gordon Carter in the Ryko Aleksiev Gallery in Sofia Bulgaria, July 2012.
The video focuses on individual "psychological fragments" in each of its segments, the fragments weave together into a more complete externalized and symbolic portrait of the inner mind as it is confronted with the reality of its own nature and desires in confrontation with the reality of the external world. "Purgatorium", the idea simply put, life and experience as a series of realizations both positive and negative that mark the path to a clarification or purification of the individual's true nature.
