Switching clips with a technique known as Follow Actions is an interesting approach. The way it works is this: you choose one of several actions for each clip. This could be the first clip plays to the end and then moves to the next, or the first clip plays to the end and then plays another random clip on the same track. If you have a selection of diverse possibilities across all of the clips you will get plenty of sonic variety. In this video Danny J Lewis shows you the basic
top down looping follow action. In the next part we'll show you how to get a bit more creative, using follow actions to intercept a beat on the fly.
