Protests against Hu Jintao's Hong Kong visit

Chinese President Hu Jintao's three-day visit to Hong Kong has been met with violent street protests.

A reporter was detained for asking a question about Tiananmen Square, the 1989 military crackdown on pro-democracy protesters that left hundreds dead.

Hu has been meeting delegates on the eve of the 15th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China.

Al Jazeera's Rob McBride reports from Hong Kong.
