Psychiatry Is A Pseudo-Science : The Rosenhan Experiment - THUD

The Rosenhan experiment was a famous experiment meant to investigate the validity of psychiatric diagnoses, and was conducted by psychologist David Rosenhan in 1973. The experiment was published in the journal Science under the title "On being sane in insane places".The study is considered an important and influential criticism of psychiatric diagnoses.
Rosenhan did his study in two parts. The first part involved the use of healthy associates or "pseudo patients" (three women and five men) who briefly pretended to hear voices in an attempt to gain admission to 12 different psychiatric hospitals in five different states in various locations in the United States. All were admitted and diagnosed with psychiatric "disorders". As you view this revealing experiment ponder on the impact that this disgusting pseudoscience can have on children (it already has damaged MANY children).
Think about it, sometimes children like to pretend things, and to them its just like an innocent game. Imagine if a young child were to pretend something in front of these quacks. They could get labeled for life.
