Turkish jets scramble as border tension rises

Turkey has scrambled six F-16 fighter jets in three separate incidents on the country's border with Syria. The deployment happened after Syrian helicopters had approached the border though they did not cross into Turkish airspace.
In a statement the country's armed forces command confirmed the jets had been scrambled on Saturday.
