A 24-year-old youth was allegedly killed on Monday by the relatives of the 16-year-old girl he had eloped with. Prakash, the deceased youth, was in a relationship with Rohini, but their families did not approve of the same. Both are residents of Kumaraswamy Layout. They eloped and rented a house in the same locality.
When Rohini’s relatives found them, they attacked Prakash. An injured Prakash was hospitalised and later succumbed to
his injuries.
A case has been registered in Kumaraswamy Layout police station. The accused claim that their intention was only to scare Prakash, not kill him.
