The Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley match this weekend stirred controversy in the world of boxing after Pacquiao lost the bout 115-113 in a split decision.

Throughout the entire fight, eight-time world champion, Pacquiao consistently landed more punches. The Associated Press had Pacquiao ahead 117 to 111. Most everyone, including Bradley, was convinced Pacquiao had won the match.
Before the final decision was announced, Bradley told Bob Arum, who promoted the fight for both boxers, "I tried hard but I couldn't beat the guy," according to the AP. In the split decision, Judge Jerry Roth scored it for Paqiao, 115-113, but judges Duane Ford and C.J. Ross scored it at 113-115, prompting boos from the 14,206 fans at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Saturday's game marks Pacquiao's first loss in seven years. Although Pacquiao is entitled to a rematch, this is not necessarily a given. Brokers are saying they may have trouble selling tickets for a rematch in November.
