Nato forces overlook Afghan produce

With almost 150,000 international troops in Afghanistan, millions of dollars are being spent every year to supply them with food.

However, Afghans have received very little financial benefit from the influx of troops.

Nato has launched a new policy to encourage the consumption of local produce, but the majority supplies are still being imported from abroad.
