US pressure builds for climate pact - 12 Nov 09

The United States has vowed to support a fund to help developing countries cope with emissions cuts ahead of next month's global climate talks in Copenhagen.

It is hoped a global deal will be reached to cut greenhouse gas emissions and ease the impact of climate change.

But there is concern that US politcians will block any meaningful participation by the Obama administration.
