Cars banned from foot of France's Mont-Saint-Michel

Cars have been banned from the foot of Mont-Saint-Michel in northwest France. People coming to the country's most visited tourist site now have to park their vehicles three kilometres from the historic mount, walk one kilometre, then take a shuttle bus to the entrance.
