ISI backing Khalistan separatists

Pakistan, April 2: Pakistan has been trying to create instability and disturb communal amity in India for decades either through cross-border terrorism or by backing the separatists. Pakistan’s spy agency, the ISI backed the Khalistan movement in India’s northern Punjab state in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Though militancy ended after a decade of bloodshed and volatility, Pakistan continues to shelter the Khalistani separatists. ISI is now pressurising the Khalistani militant groups like Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) and Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) to launch a big strike or some “spectacular action” in northern India.
