1. Prostitution was legal but regulated in Japan until 1945.
2. Not the Army but civilians were running the brothels and recruiting Comfort Women in general.
3. The South Korean Army and the U.S. Forces introduced the same system.
4. Comfort Women were recruited in a normal way and also from Japan in some cases.
5. Comfort Women were well-rewarded in some cases.
6. Comfort Women were swindled or human trafficked by Korean brokers in many cases.
7. The Japanese government and Army were trying to enforce the regulation in general.
8. False Accusation is made in Korea 671 times as often as in Japan.
