Endangered Japan (Book 2)_ Sex, Lies, and Comfort Women
This video is intended to provide historical perspective and context for the so-called "Comfort Women" issue, which is believed to have been one of the biggest war crimes committed by the Imperial Japanese Army during WW2. To ensure the objectivity, 95% of information was derived from either English or Korean sources. Since the U.S. House of Representatives House Resolution 121 in 2007, which accused Japan of its "coercion of young women into sexual slavery", more objective studies have been published such as "The Comfort Women: Sexual Violence and Postcolonial Memory in Korea and Japan" by Professor Sarah Soh of San Francisco State University (http://www.amazon.com/The-Comfort-Women-Postcolonial-Sexuality/dp/0226767779). These studies may revise the current prevailing view on the issue within 5 or 10 years. Also, the following words of Jesus Christ may open our eyes to see things more clearly and objectively.
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

The real problems to be solved are always just in front of us, right here and now, not in the far past. We should not avoid facing them by trying to find fault with others.
