Ukraine adopts no smoking ban ahead of Euro 2012

Ukraine is to join the growing list of countries banning smoking in public areas. Parliament voted to adopt legislation prohibiting it in places such as bars and restaurants as the former Soviet Republic prepares to host the Euro 2012 football championships. Until now eateries only had to have a smoke-free area on their premises.
