Poland urges Belarus to release prisoners

The Polish parliament has passed a resolution calling on the Belarus authorities to release all political prisoners. It is the latest diplomatic effort by Warsaw to persuade its eastern neighbour to introduce democratic reforms. The resolution comes at a time of heightened tension between Belarus and the West.
